Graze box

So when I was my friend's blogs, I saw this Graze Box, and I was intrigued, so
I ordered one!! Mine was meant to come on Friday but I had to wait till Tuesday, but I don't blame them as I am up in a faraway place ( well from Northampton)!!

It was really yummy and it was completely free!!!
If you want to try one then here is  a code for a free one and the seconds half price I think!!

FY1ZJYQM (limited offer though!)

In my box I received, some cheddar and red onion chutney focaccia, which was amazing, so im going to make my own next week!!! I also received orange and ginger flapjack, these Herb bites- and mixture of vanilla, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, which im not sure about as a couple of mouthfuls were yummy and the rest were not!, so not sure if I just liked the vanilla seeds!!

I also forgot to mention it all comes in a nice little box which fits through your post box :)

Just some sketchbook work!!

I just thought i would show you a few piccies of my development work on designing my Topshop collection where i had to do 40 silhouettes, It took forever!!!

When I was drawing these designs, I finally used my pantone pens
(Christmas present, cost £78 for a pack of 24) which cost far too much!! But are amazing to use, by just the way they blend with each other and have different  sized nibs. Worth every penny!!

Topshop

So for one of my projects, I told you about, where we had to design a range for our picked store, I chose Topshop and it was for a autumn/winter 2011 with the theme of Vintage Opulence. The rang had to include 2 work wear outfits, 2 clubbing outfits and 2 day outfits. The fabrics I used that you cant see in the picture. the cape is made out of leather, the shirt is made out of vintage lace with bit only the bust covered with a cream bandeau and  the ruffles on the jumper and flared shorts have the same lace but layered with the same coloured viscose and polyester mixed fabric.

Black Milk clothing

So after the Star Wars phenomenal swimsuits, I decided to look in to Black Milk clothing...
Here are somee pictures from his collection from last year aswell as his new collection. There's a mixture of bold print and  some iconic American pictures.
I really love this burned velvet bodysuit above $80 and I desperately want it, but far too expensive for me to afford at the moment!!

Black milk is a collection designed by James Lillis, made in Australia...
The prices are expensive but very reasonable for the design and the fact that they add excitement to any outfit!
They also ship all over the world, to the UK its only an extra $10.
I would be interested in buying some of the stuff if it weren't for the fact im a poor, poor student!!
So James Lillis, keep up the good work, im excited to see your new clothing!

So my obsession of the week  has to be Ivy aka Gillian Zinser from 90210.
I love her Bohemian chic style and the fact she's a freespirited badass.

she's definitely coming with me in spirit on my next shopping trip.

Lady GA GA

Lady Ga Ga's new music video for 'born this way' also like Katy Perry, has a very futuristic make up style.

I much prefer Katy Perry's make up to Lady Ga Ga's mainly because its far more vibrant and colourful and it has an exciting interpretation to Aliens!!

Katy Perry- futuristic lover,

In Katy Perry's new video the costume and make up is amazing.

PO-TAT-OOO

So for St Patrick's day, I went out with my friends, to our uni club 53 Degrees.. we were all completely smashed and my friend Nic lost her complete bag, (luckly she found it the next day!) whilst in the mist of drunk and para.. we decided it would be fun to draw faces on potatoes and take them out with us to the club!! because we are cool!!

I especially liked the outfit, I was wearing my new vintage burgundy sheer blouse that cost £15.00 with high waisted black flared shorts from River Island  £26.00 and with a thin black belt, accompanied with a bowler hat. Sadly being photographer for the night I didn't get any full pictures of me, but im sure I will wear it again and I will definitely post it on here!! :) .
definitely far to drunk here!!

In these looks im wearing a 60s style vintage polka dot dress, which I bought 6 to 8 years ago for fancy dress with a white Topshop vest and a silver chain with an E on it that my grandparents bought me. I think its from Beaties.. but it was 3 years ago!! At the moment when i wear this out, I can wear the dress by its self with jeggings. With the vest top I wear it with knitted black tights and my frilled dollies from Miss Selfridge, but as the summer is arriving soon, I can wear it with grey knee high socks!! :)

In the pictures below, I am wearing a headband made from lace that I bought from a fabric shop near me for 50p, normally im able to get the knot bigger but it just wouldn't work today for uni!!

so I was bored scoping the net when I came across polka dot nails!! :) I thought it was something fun to do, I remember trying to create this look a few years ago with nail pens but they always looked terrible, so I gave up thinking I was an idiot!! So when  I found this youtube clip on a random Blog Ithought it was time to get excited  and to have a go :)

so for my attempt I used a normal curby grip and i used pale blue and mint green with white all BarryM nail varnish but any nail varnish will do. so heres my attempt.. I need some practise to get the all the same shape!
